Update

We are one week away from finding out the gender of the baby - can't wait! We are also halfway through the pregnancy - WOW! Time flies fast. Next week I will be on Spring Break and we hope to begin the nursery project and order the furniture! 

Baby Stats:

How far along: 19 weeks (and 6 days!)

Length: 6 inches (crown to rump), 10 inches (head to toes)

Weight: 8 1/2 ounces

Size of: a large heirloom tomato

Movement: Yes! Beginning to feel the slightest movement when laying in bed at night and concentrating on the movement. Even if it's just my tummy rumbling, I'm telling myself it's baby flutters! :)

Pain: My back hurts like I'm an old lady, and I had heartburn a few times this week. Otherwise, feeling good!

Style: Still wearing my one last pair of jeans that fit, one last pair of pants, and a few pairs of my capris. I haven't started wearing my belly band yet, but alternate between regular and maternity shirts depending on the day. I'm holding out for that warm weather so I can hopefully wear some of my loose empire waist dresses. 

Cravings: No cravings, just my usual affinity for sweets - which I try on a daily basis to swear off, usually to no avail 

Next appointment: this Wednesday, April 4!

Well - the results are in. Although the vote was close, the gender survey revealed that 47% of people who voted predict we'll be welcoming in a boy, while 52% think it will be a girl. Guess we'll just have to wait a few weeks to find out!

What will the gender be?

Since we are finding out the gender of the baby in just a little over two weeks (wow!), we thought it would be fun to collect your thoughts on what you think it will be! We can't wait to have some people over for our "Gender Reveal Party" on April 7th. It will be a great birthday present to find out the sex of baby!
