33 Week Ultrasound

     Greetings, friends and family! Today we had our final ultrasound with the perinatal specialist to ensure that the baby's brain had the appropriate amount of fluid level developing on the brain. To our happiness, the doctor assured us that everything looked "normal" and we would not need to return for any further check-ups! We were so relieved and couldn't be more happy for the good news. We saw that she was getting crowded in there, as she now weighs 5 pounds, 8 ounces (in the 63% percentile for babies at 33 weeks). Her head is down, bottom is up (trust me - I can feel her little bottom up near my ribs), and she is preparing for her entry into the world in just a few short weeks. I can't believe we only have 6 weeks left - if that! 

     I am now going to see my general doctor every other week, and soon it will be every week! WOW! I am getting excited but still feel so nervous about everything we have to do! Luckily, everything is getting done little by little. I will post updated pics of how the nursery is coming along very soon!
     We feel so blessed that baby girl is healthy and apparently very happy, as she always seems to be moving - so active! As always, thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
