Gender Reveal

Last night was the highly anticipated reveal of our baby's gender. I was so excited to have people over for a house-warming/gender reveal - and it just so happened to be my 29th...what a wonderful way to celebrate my last year in my 20's!

I have to say that planning and hosting this party was so much fun - I wanted to do EVERYTHING I saw in pink and blue. I am so glad that despite our bad news at the doctor's office on Wednesday, we went ahead with the party. It was such a great distraction to be around family and friends. Also, I was so busy planning and getting ready for the party that I hardly had time to even think about the reveal. 

Once the party began; however, I did start becoming anxious. I wanted to cut into that cake right away! It was all worth the wait in the end. I am so glad we were able to experience the reveal with everyone who was able to make it, and I wouldn't change a thing!

What will baby be?!

I personally couldn't be happier our baby is a GIRL! Billy is a little shocked that his intuition was wrong - he's been expecting a little boy since day one!:) We are both ecstatic and can't wait to meet our little lady. 

Thank you for the prayers and thoughts you've been sending our way. Our appointment is scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday, where we'll meet with a genetic counselor and have our level 2 ultrasound.
